learned:
* OMG, look who's coming out! it's Madonna!.......oh.......
* Gaga as the musical guest: R. Kelly, you ARE the father.
* skit which made me involuntarily laugh: the Lincoln-era failed speech-writer...first with Jesus, and then his screw-up, great stuff. it's true, those that can't do...are critics.
* imagine if the Mr. Senior skit was actually done by Bill Cosby...
* Blockbuster was never magical to me. Circuit City was, though. that's where i first spotted a high-school girl fairy with a tramp stamp, a tiny stuffed bear in one arm, and her bulky, football-player orc boyfriend on the other.
* last skit: a sobering commentary on the fleeting nature of even mega-fame...plus, i like future stuff, so...
